IF YOU USE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS YOU NEED TO MAKE THOSE STEP IN THE \/HOME\/(USER ACCOUNT NAME)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to \/root\/.ssh directory (If directory does not exist create it)<\/li>\n<li>cat known_hosts (If it does not exist create it)<\/li>\n<li>ssh-keygen -t rsa (Create the private and public keys)<\/li>\n<li>Enter passphase (Hit enter twice for none)<\/li>\n<li>ls -a (You will see now the Private Local Machine Key and the Public Server Key)<\/li>\n<li>cat id_rsa.pub<\/li>\n<li>Copy the id_rsa.pub<\/li>\n<li>In the .ssh directory run the following command<br \/>\n# touch authorized_keys<\/li>\n<li>Copy the id_rsa.pub key in the authorized_keys file<\/li>\n<li>If you did not already did this step you are good to go!<br \/>\nnavigate to \/etc\/ssh\/sshd_config<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to &#8230;<br \/>\n# To disable tunneled clear text passwords, change to no here!<br \/>\n#PasswordAuthentication yes<br \/>\n#PermitEmptyPasswords no<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">PasswordAuthentication yes<\/span><\/li>\n<li>You have to set the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">PasswordAuthentication no<\/span><\/li>\n<li>For the rest of the installation just follow the video!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Here is what I do after, download the private key id_rsa to your computer. Open filezilla and add a new connection by using &#8220;LOGON TYPE: Key File&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/my_uploads\/2016\/05\/RSA_KEY.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-497 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/RSA_KEY-1024x637.jpg\" alt=\"RSA_KEY\" width=\"660\" height=\"411\" srcset=\"https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/RSA_KEY-1024x637.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/RSA_KEY-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/RSA_KEY-768x477.jpg 768w, https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/RSA_KEY.jpg 1282w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Add the key file that you downloaded &#8220;id_rsa&#8221; then Filezilla will prompt you to created the final key file by converting it to .ppk &#8220;I named my keyfile filezilla.ppk&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When the new key is saved you will be able to login to the ftp server.<\/p>\n<p>P.S Use the same filezilla.ppk key for PUTTY \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Also you will notice that if you use CSF you will have a stronger security!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/my_uploads\/2016\/05\/csf-score.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-500 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/csf-score.jpg\" alt=\"csf-score\" width=\"944\" height=\"849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/csf-score.jpg 944w, https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/csf-score-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/easy-admin.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/csf-score-768x691.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 944px) 100vw, 944px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Et voil\u00e0!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT USING MULTIPLE ACCOUNT ON THIS SERVER.
