Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration for Unix. Using any modern web browser, you can setup user accounts, Apache, DNS, file sharing and much more. Webmin removes the need to manually edit Unix configuration files like \/etc\/passwd<\/tt>, and lets you manage a system from the console or remotely. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n When installing from RPM by “rpm -U webmin-1.470-1.noarch.rpm” you will not be able to upgrade Webmin by simple yum upgrade. To upgrade such installation you will need to redownload and reinstall RPM manually. E.g. no automatic upgrades are done. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n When Webmin is installed from a repository, bug fixes and security patches can be automated as are other system updates, and managed using yum..
